Kratom
Is kratom safe?

It is important to realize that kratom can be addictive, and can itself create severe withdrawal symptoms. Side effects might include:

·   Weight loss

·   Fatigue

·   Constipation

·   Insomnia

·   Dry mouth

·   Frequent urination

·   Hyperpigmentation of the cheeks

·   Tremors/seizures

·   Psychosis

Despite this, toxicity of kratom is considered to be relatively mild. One of the primary safety concerns is drug-drug interactions with other recreational substances or medications.

Kratom
What does kratom do?

Kratom contains a host of bioactive compounds called alkaloids. When you consume kratom, these compounds have the ability to influence and disrupt the biochemical processes in your body – with powerful results.

The effects of kratom can depend on the dose, the strain, and the user. Kratom is used to:

·   Increase physical energy

·   Boost alertness

·   Boost mood

·   Enhance socialization

·   Relieve pain

·   Induce relaxation

·   Induce euphoria

·   Enhance sex drive

·   Increase appetite

·   Treat diarrhea (as kratom may induce constipation)

·   Treat opioid withdrawal symptoms

·   Replace alcohol in social scenarios

·   Create a topical poultice for wound-healing

·   Treat mood and psychological disorders

The strain could also play an important role. Certain strains are better for boosting energy, whereas others have stronger pain-relieving properties.

Best Kratom dosage?

While at lower doses kratom is often considered a relatively innocuous stimulant like coffee, at higher doses it can have much more powerful effects. In fact, kratom interacts with opioid receptors in the brain to produce potent analgesic and sedative, and even euphoric effects.

Finding the proper dosage for your body is incredibly important. If you are new to kratom usage, best practice is to start with a low dosage and slowly build up until you find what works best for you.

General serving sizes are as follows;

Small: 1-5 grams, effective for approx. 3-4 hours

Moderate: 5-15 grams, effective for approx. 4-6 hours

Heavy: 15+ grams, effective for approx. 6-8 hours, or sometimes longer

Finding your proper dosage can be a pain. For help figuring it out, you can make your own journal.

Is Kratom legal?

Kratom is now legal in most of the US, though a few exceptions remain. While this accessibility benefits those with chronic pain, the lack of regulation highlights the need to research and buy from reputable sources. Verify its legality in your state and locality before purchase, as some cities may have additional restrictions (e.g., San Diego).

How strong is delta-10 THC?

No two people experience cannabinoids the exact same way,  but most people report that delta-10 THC is milder than delta-9 THC. It often gives more of a head high than a full-body high since it has a harder time binding to certain receptors (CB1) in the body.

Delta 10 THC
Does delta 10 get you high?

Yes, delta-10 THC can and will get you high! The duration and intensity of the high will vary based on your tolerance, dose, and personal biology. In general, though, you can expect a delta-10 high to be more mellowing and less intense than a high from delta-9 THC or other similar compounds.

Delta 10 THC
Is delta 10 safe?

Delta-10 THC can be safe for most people, but if you can’t safely use other forms of THC or cannabis, it’s probably not for you.

Any cannabinoid can potentially interfere with prescription medications or exacerbate existing health conditions, so it’s a good idea to clear things up with your doctor before you start using cannabis.

Always be sure to check the certificate of analysis (COA) for your products so that you know what you’re putting into your body.

How long do live resin vape pens last?

Live resin vape pens that are stored properly (in cool, dark spaces) can usually last for a year or two, but it depends on the product. Since live resin vapes have more organic compounds in them (and more “plant stuff”), they might break down a little quicker than other vape pens. If your vape pen starts to taste or smell different, looks discolored, or doesn’t seem to hit quite like it used to, it’s probably time to pick up a replacement.

Live Resin
Is live resin better than distillate?

Live resin vapes are usually stronger, more flavorful, and more aromatic than distillate vapes, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they’re “better.” Distillate vape pens may be more potent than live resin vapes, and since they don’t have as many terpenes, they might be better for those who prefer a milder high. It all depends on your preferences and what you want to get out of your product. If you’re looking for the most “authentic” cannabis experience, a live resin vape pen might be for you.

Live Resin
How is live resin made?

Live resin is created with fresh or flash-frozen plant material, which means its extraction process is pretty straightforward. Manufacturers follow each of these steps to obtain and use live resin in their vape products:

  1. Harvest the plant. When buds reach peak maturity, they’re removed from the plant and promptly flash-frozen to preserve their terpene and cannabinoid profiles.
  2. Break down the plant. These frozen buds are then broken down into small pieces to increase their surface area and make extraction more efficient.
  3. Load the plant material into an extraction device. In most cases, the ground-up frozen plant matter is added to an extraction column of a closed-loop system, which is designed to recycle solvents throughout the process.
  4. Add the solvents. A butane or butane/propane mix solvent is added to the system. It’s then passed through the plant material so that it can dissolve the terpenes, cannabinoids, and other organic compounds inside.
  5. Collect the solvent mixture. Once extraction is complete, the liquid mixture is collected and then purged with a vacuum oven to remove any residual solvent.
  6. Store the live resin. The freshly prepared live resin is now ready to be stored in an airtight container or added to your favorite products!
Live Resin
What is live resin?

Live resin is a type of cannabis concentrate that’s created using fresh or flash-frozen plant material instead of dried, cured buds. The extraction method used to make live resin retains terpenes and cannabinoids, which leads to a more flavorful, aromatic, and potent vape product.

Usually, cannabis goes through several stages of processing before it becomes the products you know and love. Trimming, curing, drying, and extraction slowly chip away at the terpenes and other compounds found in the plant material. By the time the process is finished, the result might only have about half of the terpenes it did originally.

Live resin avoids this because it comes from fresh plant matter. It’s essentially as close to vaping straight-up flower as you can get!

How many puffs are in a Packwoods vape?

This depends on the size of the vape and how long your puffs are. A typical inhale of about one to three seconds usually gives you about a “dose” of cannabinoids, and many vapes are designed to allow you to take these puffs hundreds of times. But if you tend to go for “blinkers” or take long rips, your vape will (unsurprisingly) run out a lot faster. We recommend checking out the dosing instructions on your product if there are any, and using those as a guide.
